ZLAC Rowing Club
San Diego, CA - In collaboration with Coastal Sage Landscape Architecture

We take great pride in reimagining a space touched by the legacy of Kate Sessions, whose vision shaped Balboa Park, and Lillian Rice, known for crafting the character of Rancho Santa Fe. Honoring their pioneering spirit, we approach the project at ZLAC Rowing Club with deep respect—balancing timeless design with refined craftsmanship and a fresh perspective.

The pathway to be constructed is shown with the grading done and the forms in place for the concrete pour. The natural stone retention wall is seen in the background.

Hanna Fenichel Center for Child Development
Solana Beach, CA

A naturalistic playground built based on The Carnival of the Animals: a musical suite by the French Romantic composer Camille Saint-Saëns. Play elements refer to different musical movements of the suite such as The Elephant, Tortoises, or The Cuckoo's nest. Enter their magical world here. In collaboration with Island Construction.

Pre-school Garden at the San-Diego French American School
San Diego, CA

The design presented to the San Diego French-American School applied to the periphery of the existing preschool playground. The elements aim at improving the outdoor environment for children in PK0, PK1 and PK2 classes (2 to 5 year-olds), creating an outdoor classroom, bringing components of a working garden, nature, play, musical creativity, and fantasy to the brim of an existing playground with metal structures on a poured in place rubber surface.
